It's been a good while since I last found the time to write a little blog on the happenings of the Edinburgh furniture shop.
Top of the excuses list for not writing one in lately is the arrival of our beautiful little girl Emily who was born just after Christmas, a late present if you will.

So, just a quick blog on the new fully functioning completely responsive e-commerce web site we have eventually launched.
Running a furniture business by yourself with a young family is, to be honest, challenging. It's a bit of a juggling act especially with the economic uncertainty that we've had in the past years with the recession, referendum etc..
For this reason the Edinburgh furniture shops web site has probably taken longer than usual however first and foremost was our customers who placed orders in our store.

Pulling out all the stops we have still managed to make sure everyone has had their furniture when expected and only just recently we had 2 issues (our first in 4 years of trading) with 2 dining tables, of course replacements were ordered, delivered when convenient and customers are happy, one of which placed another order the other day for a large oak sideboard.

Back to our Edinburgh shops web site, the layout, payment gateway for cards and paypal are all done allowing customers now to directly order from the website without having to call us or come into our Edinburgh furniture shop.
Online selling and purchasing is a fickle thing, it's convenient but do you know who you are dealing with, are you going to get the goods you expect...
There are lots of websites out there to choose from and a good few use similar if not identical images to sell cheaper more inferior products to the unexpected public. The beauty of us is that yes we do only have a small store but we do have a lot of pieces on display from lots our our furniture collections so you can come and see the exact finish, colour and quality.
